I play primarily blues/jazz music and prefer the SRV/John Mayer tone. I'm currently looking for a really clean tube amp with these characteristics:
- Beautiful cleans throughout the volume spectrum and when cranked has just a little bit of distortion
- I can play in my room to practice without disturbing neighbors.
- I can gig with at a small club (trio setting with bass and drums)
- Handles pedals well
- Has gorgeous reverb
- Has beautiful vibrato (preferred, but not required)
- Preferably a single channel, however it can be a two channel amp.
- Also preferably a head, and not a combo.
Anyone using an amp like this? Money is not an issue. Thanks!
