Best Trilogy

What's your favourite Trilogy?

Mine are as follows:

1. Star Wars 4 - 6
2. Indiana Jones
3. Back to the Future
4. Lord of the Rings
5. Jurasic Park
 
1. Lord of the rings
2. The Ring Trilogy (Japan)
3. Star Wars (the original trilogy of course)
4. Probably Terminator, despite number 3
5.

After that it's hard to rank them. E.g. Matrix 1 was excellent but 2 and 3 let the side down.
 
I can't believe you've all left out the Critters trilogy. Disgraceful.

Hold on. I bet it's because they did a Critters 4, but it's alright - that was set in space and was crap, so doesn't count :)
 
What about Death Wish?

If you ignore 4 and 5 (as good as they are), then the first three seem even more superb, and of couse DW3 is deservedly a cult classic!
 
back to the future, orginal star wars films and ginger snaps films among them and lord of the ring prob i think the 3rd xmen and shrek films will also be good
 
I can't believe it's taken 17 posts for The Godfather to come up. Ok, three sucked in comparison (although it's under-rated IMO), but one and two more than make up for it.

After that, it would be:
Star Wars 4, 5, 6
Indiana Jones

Can't think of any more I'd really rate as a favourite.
