DVD- NB is the best for old and new movies. 3929 total movie on the site & sparvar.org is also good
HD- hdbits is the best for full blue ray & HD movies

non-mainstream movies
cinematik (DVDR only)
Karagarga (Xvid/DVDR)

mainstream and non-mainstream movies
PassThePopcorn, Tehconnection, Goem (Xvid and a few HD and DVDR's rls)

mainstream movies
i'd say TL and Revtt (Xvid and a few DVDR's)

also Demonoid and torrents.ru (semi-private/public torrentsites)

You forgot IPT. For instance I could find a movie ( taking lives- Angelina Jolie XVID ) only there ( nor TL or revTT)

well, last time i checked, IPT didn't have much "old stuff" - i never (rarely) find anything compared to TL/Revtt when i look for 80/90's films.

Which trackers are the best for HD and DVD movies?

Most public torrents go dead quickly for older movies, with DVDrip being the only ones with peers.

sure, random stuff can be found here and there, but aren't we talking about dvd & hd rather than dvdrips? taking lives is in 4 variants at hdbits and i didn't counted in how many - at torrents.ru (bluray, remux, dvd9 etc...)

ps agree on bithq - the tracker is a commonly overlooked gem :)

could anyone tell me how to get into bit-hdtv? Because there signup is never opened

You need to be invited.

Don't ask for invites here - once your account is 15 days old and has 20 useful posts, you'll gain access to the "BitTorrent Invite Giveaways And Requests" section, where you can post a request. In the meantime, feel free to be active ;)

^ I'm going to paste that on a text file for next time

Cinematik about 9300 or I missed something?

Anyway it`s still one of the best, I`ll also recommend BitHq and Swebits :)

statistics say 18.471 torrents but the browse page shows only 9.339 torrents... maybe the stats take in consideration all torrents in cinematik history, i don't know.
anyway, as you said, it's still one of the best dvd tracker out there.

Streaming is the best option when it comes to music if you don't care about lossy.

So, that's not a problem :D

HD on the other hand

Ehh never is. This is "best trackers for HD and DVD" not "best way to get music"

Also streaming is a waste of time:

1. You only see (or in your case hear) it once.
2. Buffering is a pain in the ass.

Nothing beats Di.fm for streaming :w00t:
