I had the SE slip-ons prior to the build. Now I'm running SuperTraps with the baffle replaced for more air flow. I bit of a crack to the exhaust note but tolerable.

I've got RUSH slip-ons on my bike, and like them. You hear them when you're on the throttle, but cruising they quieten down, can hear radio, but louder than stock. Would like to the Power Duals on when I do the Stage 1 upgrade from FM, but not sure I can swing it all at one time.

Another vote for the SE slip-ons. Nice tone when you crack the throttle but not too loud. Nice at highway speed.

I'm biased to the Bub 7's. I put these on my 08 RK and love them. At idle they are very tolerable and you can carry a conversation. Get it out and crack the throttle and they come alive.

My 08 FLHT is completely stock and I put on Rush slipons with a 1.5 inch baffle. Great low rumble sound and definitely not over the top. They run with a soft rumble at cruising speed. I had someone else ride my bike so I could hear how they sound to others and they definitely had that good low rumble. I started out with the 1.75 inch baffle but it was borderline too loud for me. I really didn't expect too much change when going to the 1.5's but to my suprise it was a definitely noticeable difference. Good pipe at a reasonable price. I paid something like $375 bit I know you can get them for a little less.

Yet another vote for the SE Touring, when I come home my neighbors know I am riding up the alley, but don't complain when I leave in the morning.

In my case I added the Fullsac True Dual conversion kit which deepens the sound a little more and gives it a bit more of the classic Harley sound and as a side benefit cools my right leg. However it did cost me a couple of FtLbs of torque a very fair trade for that cool leg!

+1 on the Rush if you are not going to do true duals then the Rush Race Series 1.75 left and 2.25 right will fill the bill. If you are going with the true duals the Rush headers w/1.75's would do it. I have run both setups and they have great sound and mellow out at cruising speeds and you can hear the radio without having to blow your speakers.
