Best time to hike Runyon Canyon?

Morning, afternoon, or night?
which time is best that it wont be soo hot that i would die of heatness hiking up it and also which time would the veiw be the cutest for pictures in the day so you can see everything or the night with all the city lights?
also is it hard and how amazing is it?
ever see any celebs up there doing it:?
 
On a hot summer day you're better off starting early in the AM. On a medium hot day you could begin around 6:00PM then plan on cresting the canyon at sunset. Depending on the humidity it's sometimes way too hot well into the night. Also be advised that they close parts of it at night. You might have to sacrifice the city lights to get in a good hike in the morning. It's hard if you're not in decent shape. You might see celebs but you wouldn't recognize them in their sunglasses and hats.
