I do some minor graphic design. I like to make logos. But I can't figure out the right setting and technique for making logos sharp. They always turn out kind of blurry about the edges, especially with text. Look at the logo on Chase.com, how clean the edges are. Or look at Lego.com as another example. On Yahoo.com, the logo has extremely sharp edges. The Google.com logo has some shadowing, but is pretty sharp also. I know it depends on the monitor you have and maybe the graphics card too. But it also has a lot to do with the image extension, resolution and so on. So, if ".GIF" the best extension? Is 72 a good resolution? What are some other tips?
