just a tad older alright!! (I'm 19, and I looked at your biography) I LOVE old movies!! Did you go see Lovestory in the cinema? That movies SOOO good, and so sad!I also really loved the ORIGINALS of An Affair to Remember and Night & Day.
I still cry about Ladder 49, it's one of them films that i have to applause to cos they knew how to get the audience to react and that what i liked about it.. so sad... beaches still makes me cry.. pay it forward one of my other cry films lol
I find it very hard to feel any emotion at all for this film. There are too many characters and not enough depth. I could not get to know the characters and what they were about. It came across that Julia Roberts died just for the death and Sally Field could rant and rave in the graveyard.
thats one thing im unsure of in titanic at the end. when rose dies and you see her being reunited with jack and the other passengers on the titanic is that her dying and going to heaven? what about the bloke she married after jack? surely hed have been upset if shed have gone to him in "heaven" instead of jack?
1. Armageddon - absolutely gorgeous film - I end up blubbing practically every scene!! - especially the scene between Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck on the astoriod at the end where they swap places, the scene were Harry says goodbye to Grace with the TV screens and the airfield scene at the end. I love everything about this film - story, cast, and music. I love this film so much I even have two copies of it!! Probably my joint favourite film of all time with Cruel Intentions.
2. Cruel Intentions - especially the escaltor scene between Ryan Phillippe and Reece Witherspoon with "Colorblind" by Counting Crows in the backgroud.
3. Carlito's Way - on the train platform at the end.
4. Titanic - the scene between Kate and Leo in the ocean towarRAB the end.
5. Jerry Maguire.
6. The Bodyguard.
7. Champions (early 80's film about horse racing legend Bob Champion and his battle with cancer).
I can't remember what it was called - however, there was a "lassie dog" type of film when I was a kid , when a dog or dogs died or something - I vaguely remember being in flooRAB of tears and an angry rage at the sad story.
