Best Symbian phone!?!?!

I didn't speak for anyone. I didn't tell anyone to respond to this thread and I didn't tell anyone not to respond to this thread either. To create a thread is to expect a response, especially if you have questions. I refer to "us" as every member of this forum who happens to read this thread and repeat that it is not any of "our" obligation to do the appropriate research to answer the OP's questions when the OP can simply do that himself.

Stickies and wikis were created by users to contribute, as well as smartphone specific websites, and it's an insult to the creators of those materials for users to post a random thread in a forum without looking through any of them to find out for themselves first.

I also reiterate that my initial response was to help, but then the thread turned into a "oooh, get the n93, you can't go wrong with that!" thread.

sorry Correct me if I am wrong before I interrupt the sermon however it is ur choice to respond to these threads. You can ignore them if you have no input in answering any question asked by a thread in order to produce the answers needed. I much rather receive input from my fellow hofo friends than gamble spending close to a grand on pure specs of units and reviews which have not answered my question. Technology is fast paced and changing everyday god forbid you wake up and missed a news clipping on something or if you had just more interest on the subject and start a discussion. Please just exclude your self from my threads in the future. You seem to be the stuck up person this community could be better off with out. You actually wasted room on the forum with ur stupid petty no help comments. instead of answering like the others and just giving helpful advice..... Now that the mad preacher and his congregation of uno have tooken their seats. Again thanks for all your help. The communicator is deffently the form factor of which I need. However it does not seem to have a lot of power. After researching it I found there are complaints of its speed and processing. As for the 8525 I am really looking forward to it however was just checking over my choices. Being windows bound lately I was just curious if I was passing up anything not knowingly. I really just want a mini pda laptop for much like the wizard or communicator which can take advantage of todays dsl like speeds and functions regardless of the os

Does anyone know if the 9500 communicator or the 9300i is capable of tethering!?!?! If so what are your opinions of the experience in doing so..

All symbian phones are capable of tethering.
Ok, that was a blanket statment, but I'm sure most, if not all Symbian OS phones are capable ot tethering.

I think the bottom line is: If your requirement is HSPDA speed, you won't get it in the form factor (full keyboard) you want in the Symbian world at the moment.

You will get a bit more stability, but I've read the 8525 is more stable than the old 8125. Of course, the 8525 is more expensive than Symbians w/ full keyboards, so that's the other tradeoff. And if you don't want the 8525, I'd be happy to buy it off you for $250

$250.00 LOL Funny still waking up I see lol... But thanks for your help as well. I really dont feel like putting that much money towards the 8525 either if it can be avoided. Cingular treats me quite nicely. So I am looking to upgrade to the 8525 only when the price is right (its noted on my account). I am looking currently to replace my hw6515 which is just a spare because of the damn battery life. I figured why not diddle with both operating systems. I just really do not want to down grade. Right now I am looking at seriously getting the 9300... what are your thoughts?? A quick question as well is there anyway possible to overclock the communicators? furthuring my reasearch I see that the unit runs on a low speed processor. I was curious if symbian programs use less processor power than the windows enabled unit's. Also if anyone knows a good speed to over clock it with out killing it

I had 3 Symbian phones: Nokia 6600, Nokia 6630 and Nokia E60. From that phones I prefer 6630 because it is more handy and faster that other mobile. Also at this phone more applications and games install and load without problem.

You write that WHOLE post about wanting opinions based on experience and then you jump to another question you could've answered yourself if you used the search button. I rest my case. I won't bother your newb thread anymore.
