Best Symbian phone!?!?!

Ok.... long ago I ventured into the world of symbian on nokia devices and converted over to windows. How ever I am looking right now for a phone small clam-shell and laptop features (regardless of the os). I am looking forward it to be fully loaded with memory and power. Browser speeds (comparable to the new 8525 technology) and clear reception is all needed. I would also like a unit which is comfortable for watching different media formats (comparable to tcmp player). If anyone is familiar with the JASJAR (Basic laptop features; full keyboard abled). I am looking for a unit with the same features of that. I would also like a little fun out of the device so it would have to be able to run emulator at full speed. There has been some talk of emulators for the symbian hardware if I am not mistaken. I am familiar with symbian software as I stated before I just have not had a unit operated off of it since the n-gage which didnt last. I also had a couple of other unit's as well. Again all I am looking for is your general input for a powerful symbian phone to answer my needs. ONE MORE VERY IMPORTANT FEATURE: I need a unit which can be used to tether (modem)!!!! As always thanks in advance... by the way I am a cingular cust.

vSUN, vNES, and vBOY have all been ported to s60v3. As far as the specs of the rest of the phones, I think you can do the research for that since there is no best s60 phone, only the best s60 phone for you. Check GSMarena.com

I will ignore your comment but I must say this is not at all a stupid thread. We are simply trying to look at current options. When spending over have a grand on a piece of equipment all options should be explored. I am simply lokoing for a phone that is upto date and compares to the 8525 and tytn new technology. If you can not help please ignore the thread thank you.....

The information is readily available from various websites and dozens upon dozens of people have posted threads like this before. It's stupid.

don't be a jerk Jonny. While I agree that these types of threads are stupid, I think this one only suffers from a bad title. If you read the OP, it's actually a very pointed question.

To the OP:

Currently there are no Nokias that take full advantage of 3G speeds such as the 8525 does/will. However, there is the aforementioned N75 soon to be available from Cingular that will offer those browsing speeds. It's the same size as the Moto RAZR, only a few millimeters thicker. It does not have a full keyboard, but you can use any bluetooth keyboard with it. Nokia provides the correct drivers. That would probably be your best option if you don't really need the keyboard 24-7.

Forgive me for coming off as rude, but my initial post was in the direction to help. I don't see find this to be an appropriate thread if the original poster is simply requesting an itemized list of all the features he'd like in a smartphone and then requests us to do the legwork without any research done whatsoever.

Us ?
Who exactly, is 'us' ?
You speak only for yourself.
Who are you to say whether or not others should or shouldn't contribute the light of their own experiences/opinions to the thread ?
You're EXACTLY the kind of negative (read : jealous, moralising, yada yada yada) type of misery this forum doesn't need.
You put a downer on everyone and every thing ... and deserve whatever flaming you get.
If you have nothing useful to say, say nothing.

There are very few Symbian phones w/ HSPDA speeds (google to confirm).
Only ones I found are the N95 and the the LG JoY, neither of which have full keyboards (only the E70 and E61 have keyboards and are relatively recent, but neither are HSPDA which you can only use on Cingular's network since T-Mo only supports EDGE at the moment).

In your sig, you say you have the 8525 on order? What's wrong w/ it that you're thinking of switching? If anything, that's the only WM5 that would lure me away from Symbian and I'm thinking about the E70 or 8525 when the ridiculous "just released" pricing dies down and you can get them for $200-300...
