Hi. I am totally thick when it comes to anything electrical so thought I would come on here and ask. My boyfriend and I would like to get surround sound for our living room. He has a PS3 which he would also like to connect to it as we use the PS3 for watching movies as well (it has replaced our old dvd player). Can anyone tell me the best product to look for that is a 5.1 (no idea what this means but he tell me that's what he wants). Also, most systems sell a blu ray player with their speakers, would this kind of system work if we were to just sell the player and use the speakers with the PS3? If not, ideas on where to find surround sound speakers without the player and that work with PS3 would be great! We have a budget of £600, and can't really go above that. Thanks!!
