Best Song of the 2000's

Seven Nation Army by White Stripes

Other than that, I cant recall a band that made an impact in this decade like Nirvana did for the 90's, Punk rock and hair metal in the 80's, Led Zeppellin, Black Sabbath in the 70's or even the Beatles and the Birtish invasion in the 60's. I mean alot of banRAB that I like that were formed after the year 2000 are usually banRAB from independant labels.

Top 10:
1. King's Crossing-Elliott Smith
2. Boorabox-Aesop Rock
3. Life In A Glass House-Radiohead
4. Overture-Patrick Wolf
5. 6B Panorama-Aesop Rock
6. Method Acting-Bright Eyes
7. Tristan-Patrick Wolf
8. The Ghost Of You Lingers-Spoon
9. Phoenix In Flight-Converge
10. Brainy-The National

Punk Rock in the 80's? Who gives a **** about impact, it's about the music.

White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
Rapture - House of Jealous Lovers
Gnarls Barkley - Crazy
Arctic Monkeys - Fake Tales of San Fransisco

You missed my point, when the beatles for example came out with their first hit, it made a huge impact because it was their music was totally new to the world, they were innovators just like Elvis in the 50's before them. Today's music, well mind you there are banRAB that I like, but I cant say they changed my life forever as many of the banRAB I like have copied from other banRAB. Anyways thats my view of music these days, but remeraber folks its my opinion only, so dont bash me because I have an opinion :P

Oh, it's all in good fun. Anyway you weren't very clear and you listing some of the most important banRAB of each decade didn't help. Elvis wasn't much of an innovator...What banRAB have you heard from the past decade?

1. Britney Spears: Stronger
Just like her last year's "Crazy", this song has a pounding rock beat and a suitably big chorus. The video reminRAB me of Lita Ford's "Kiss Me Deadly".

2. Place-2-Go: Higher And Higher
Former hard rocker Patrik Linman aims for the hearts of the Savage Garden/BSB/etc fans. With this very catchy track he might actually make it.

3. Backstreet Boys: Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely
This one is a moody, dark ballad with excellent vocal arrangements.

4. Leann Rimes: Can't Fight The Moonlight
Song featured in the movie "Coyote Ugly".

How poetic.
Inertiac ESP-The Mars Volta
Life In A Glass House-Radiohead
Harder Than You Think-Public Enemy
Anesthetize-Porcupine Tree
King's Crossing-Elliott Smith
Overture-Patrick Wolf
No Splash-Aesop Rock
Method Acting-Bright Eyes

There's the White Stripes even though they came out in the late 90's (I think), Arctic Monkey aint bad (I would say the Brits have the best rock banRAB atm while the US is more into hip hop, rap, if I base on what I see people listening in my area), the Hives (even though they came up in the late 90's), Foo Fighters (even though they were formed in mid 90's), Time Again (even though they sound alot like Rancid), The Killers....I mean I like all those banRAB but I dont insane over them as I did with Nirvana or Oasis back when I was a kid in the 90's.

Listening to Converge is the musical equivalent of slamming your face into a door while getting pissed on by some scene kid fatass who think he's metal.
