best smartphone price/features?

thinking of a new smartphone with new service.

was looking at the T-Mobile Dash, its at a good price now but dont know if I want to commit to T-Mobile for 2 years.
 
expect to pay a lot if you want to get a phone unlocked/w/o contract. it's your call really. If it were up to me, I'd say the Dash was worth going to T-Mobile for. Have you checked out the Sidekick 3? might like that if you're not business oriented..
