Best smartphone for web browsing?

I am looking for a phone for web browsing and maybe to "grow" into many other things a smartphone can do.

I have been doing some research and as far as I can tell, The samsung i730 looks to be the most "Robust" of the phones.

Is this true, as it seems to be one of the "Older" phones out there ?

Thanks for the reply. I have not seen it yet in person, I had just read in laptop magazine that it was one of the slowest in rendering the web pages. Have you experienced this? I will have to go see it today.
 
It did fine for me. It wasn't like using broadband, but it was quicker than dial up at loading standard html webpages. IMO, it does a great job, especially concidering that it's a phone and not a computer.
