Best selling Graphic Novels of January

Yugioh Gx took #1. All one piece volumes made it to the list. Also Naruto vol 47 made it to nuraber 3 and it comes out this month. Vampire Knight vol 1 made a surprising presence on the chart
 
I'm a little surprised GX took the top spot. If any Yu-Gi-Oh! manga made it, I figured it'd be R (didn't it get a release in January?)

I'm also surprised that there's still so much interest in GX even though 5D's and the original get way more press time.
 
Amazing that that many people still care about GX.

I`m glad to see that all the OP volumes are there. Viz certainly did not waste their money on OP:FSA.
 
Glad to see One Piece up there.

Even though I keep up with One Piece through its anime, I still have interest in buying the manga. Somebody tell me when they get into Water 7.
 
I see Death Note Volume one is hanging in strong. Nice to see One Piece speed up getting some good nurabers and landing a place on the charts/ Still wondering why GX is the highest selling Manga for the month of January?
 
I don't think that Yu-Gi-Oh! R had a release in January. The third volume was just released last week.

I'm also really surprised that the forth volume of GX did that well. I've heard who the manga still sells, despite the fact that the show hasn't been on the air for awhile, and that's pretty cool to me. I'm glad that I bought a copy as a early birthday present. It's also nice to see One Piece on the list.
 
The best-selling graphic novel of January was YU-GI-OH! GX?! What the hell? Oh well, all the One Piece volumes getting on there more than makes up for that.
 
Anyone else find it funny that volume 47 of Naruto is nuraber 3 on that list yet is was not suppose to come out till this month? I sware the popularity of this manga is just starting to get scary.
 
My brother told me the GX manga sold a ton because of the promo card it came with,
apparently it's pretty popular in the card game.

Watchmen still sells a lot? Cool, standing up well even in this year.
 
As I said before, I'm sure that many people got the manga for the card, but the other volumes for the GX manga has sold well before. I know that the third volume was in the top ten most sold manga in just the first week of its release. I would think that there are more factors for GX selling well other than the promo carRAB.
 
That's just what my brother says. He knows a lot more about the card game than me, and seems to have a passionate dislike for GX for some odd reason. Probably should've taken that into more consideration. Didn't mean that GX didn't deserve its top spot or anything.
I personally like the manga, but I'm not up to volume 4 yet.
 
Not to mention a lot of people simply tear the shrinkwrap off and steal the card, leaving the manga.
