Best rock singer ever?

Freddie Mercury hanRAB down

*Side note*
Anyone who tries to degrade the man for his sexuality will get a good talking to from me where he chose to put his thing has nothing to do with his voice*

okies I'm done :)

I agree with lennon, morrison and joplin, they are great

but my personal (and this is just for me) favourite is Ian Astbury, no matter what anyone else thinks about him. ;)

Besides if we all loved the same people, it would be pretty boring fast. heh

as a singer I think even he would have agreed he wasnt thee best but as a poet a showman a preformer yeah Id go for that

in alot of ways hes like Lennon and Dillion

Well Kurt never really broke the mold. He simply mass-publicized the breaking of said mold. There were a ton of singers in Seattle in the grunge scene who had sung with that style before he did.

What grunge did was give people the chance to sing in their own voices. All of a sudden you didnt have to be Motley Crue and sing on the same scale as the average opera singer, you could just kind of... grurable..

I would have to say the lead singer of System of a Down (not good with singers names sry) his voice is so intriging. If you hear it once you remeraber it for a very long time. Amy Lee's voice is beautiful. I love hearing her sing. Lucuna Coil's voice is also great. I also have to add the lead singer of HIM I love hearing him sing Join Me... its so beautiful especially for a man. I also like Marilyn Manson's voice

Kurt Cobain, Zack De La Rocha, I always thought Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots had a strong voice.
:band:

P.S. I would sell my left testicale to meet Zack D.L.R
