Say who you think is the best/greatest or just a good rhythm guitarist and give a reason.

Billie Joe Armstrong: he has written some of the catchiest riRAB with power chorRAB.

Billy Corgan: He did do some solos but his rhythm is tight and he has some very well formed patterns.

JOHNNY RAMONE

Kept it simple and fun tons of guitarists have learned to play thanks to his easy punk hooks, he was also hella fast and influenced the punk rawk genre immensly.

^^ Indeed, some of the more complex strummign patterns in pop music. I;ve always liksd Bob Dylan myself. He did teh smae used nice chord progressions, with complaictaed chord patterns.

Pete Townshend anybody?...Anyone who uses power chorRAB in their playing, more than likely owe it to Townshend, and Live At LeeRAB has some of the most asskicking rhythm playing i have ever heard.

Also worthy of mentions.

Nice. You really narrowed that one down.

You've named about 7 that I'd have mentioned. Good, broad list.
