in the past decade there have been many belated sequels to 80s films like Terminator 3, Die hard 4, Indiana jones 4, Rambo 4 etc but which do you think were actually worthy sequels to the classic series.

I think Die hard 4 was decent, it had lots of thrilling action, a good plot about modern technology being used by terrorists. Rambo had lots of action but lacked a good plot, Terminator 3 could not surpass T2's special effects which still look great today.

Die Hard 4 and Rambo 4 just didn't have the *FEEL" of the other movies though.

Die Hard 4 was good as a silly standalone movie, I never once felt I was watching John McClane though. Shame.

Toy Story 3 has to be up there surely.

None of them I'm afraid. They'll never surpass Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Terminator, Die Hard or First Blood whose formulas got sullied through repetition.
Sly looked like a beefed up Pepperami man in Rambo 4.

I liked the Die Hard 4 movie..the 3rd one was always my fav though
as for talk of Ghostbusters 3..hearing it's not going to be made which to me would be a good thing

With you on Die Hard (and I agree with the poster who said it was OK as a stand alone, but wasn't a Die Hard film)

With Rambo 4, you forget that 2 and 3 where nothing like the first film. Ok 4 didn't feel like those, but that is a very very good thing!

Die Hard 4 was simply an insult to the name in my opinion. It was like a kiRAB version. Pathetic.

I did really enjoy the recent Rambo. Fingers crossed for The Expendables, as Sly really proved himself with Rambo.

I havent seen the recent Rocky film, but i hear it's good.
