choose your top ten and write justification. (doesent have to be as long as mine) please rate it 1-10here are mine10.Brett Favre- He is the toughest qb in league history. played through pain and has the all time consuctive starts record for a qb. he holds every major passing record (including INT's).and unlike dan marino he won a super bowl so they cant hold that excuse on him.9 John Elway- He had great stats and was a surefire hall of famer going into his last 2 years but didnt want to be grouped with dan marino as qbs who couldent win the big one.so long story short he won 2 straight Sb's and went down as one of the greatest of all time.8. Terry Bradshaw-Not so great stats (threw alot of picks) but made up for it with 4 super bowls and 2 super bowl mvps.7. Peyton Manning- Better stats then dan marino at this age and 1 more super bowl. 6. Dan Marino- i know i have been complaining about his lack of a super bowl but he has great stats.5.Johhny Unitas- has alot of pure skill and not to mention 1 super bowl and 2 nfl championships.4.Tom Brady- Wins. thats the one word to describe tom brady in his first 4 years he had 3 super bowl wins and in 2007 his 50 td season proved he had the stats too. he could have secured himself as #1 or 2 if he would have beat the giants to go 19-0. injuries may slow down the rest of his career but i have a feeling he will win another super bowl and be back to the old brady.look for him to have around 300 td passes 4-5 sb's at the end of his career3. Bart Starr- won first 2 super bowls and made the nfl what it is today.2. Sammy Baugh- invented the position we know as qb today. And last but not least....................... 1. Joe Montana!- he is the greatest quarter back of all time hands down he won 3 super bowl mvps was so clutch that its not funny. joe cool is the best!nygiantsfan eli manning #2 qb of all time? What that makes no sense.plus i see the lack of brady on that list. and the last but not least of your dumb statements yes winning sb's does matter just ask everyone in the football american section.

JOE MONTANA all da way man he is a legend that will go into history and be immortalized in the nfl

1. Johnny Unitas2. Joe Montana3. Otto Graham4. Sammy Baugh5. Tom Brady6. Peyton Manning7. Fran Tarkenton8. John Elway9. Dan Marino10. Terry Bradshaw.

I like your list but were is Dan FoutsFran TarkentonRoger StarbackJim Kelly lead the Bills to 4 straight super bowlsEven Troy AkmanFarve is way overrated he stuck around is how he padded his statsBefore 2007 there were like 5 years there that he was just plain badHow bout the Snake were does he rate and I ain't talkin' about Jake

1.Dan Marino-Best QB ever, just because you dont when a superbowl doesn't mean ur not good and didn't have any good receivers and had to make plays himself.2.Eli Manning-NYGIANTS BABY!3.Peyton Manning-Best pocket QB in the league and can read a defense good and is the best leader of a football team out there.4.Steve McNair-Even though retired he was a small time country boy from Mississippi who went to a small time Black college he believed in himself and made it to the big leagues and was one of the fastest QBs when he was in his primes.5.John Elway-Great Pocket QB.6.Kurt Warner-Career is nearly over but has been the hardest working QBs out there.7.Michael Vick-Fast QB, raw athleticism, and strong arm!8.Joe Montana-Good QB but had good receivers like JRice who made him great but he had a strong arm.9.Roger Staubach-Raw QB, hard worker, made plays by himself and pushed his receivers to the best of their abilities.10.Donovan McNabb-Good QB, strong arm, tough, still has 5 years of football left in him.

1.Dan marino- for right now he is the best depending on peytons career. he had the most skill ever and he was the best pure pass and the most accuracy.2.Peyton Manning- he might be the best soon. hes got more skill as a qb than anyone in the league. he calls his own plays. hes won like 120 games already. he is like the most consistent qb ever, and he is just plain dominant.3.John Elway- also a really great pure passer but could also run. he put up beastly stats and then ended his carreer with back to back SBs4.Johnny unitas- 3 time mvp and best colts QB until peyton. he won a superbowl and championships. he made the colts like the most famous team at the time.5.Frank tarkenton- probably just as good a passer as anyone but he never really won anything. he was really really really really good though and his arm was like marinos.6.Joe montana- he did have jerry rice but he made all the other recievers into all stars. he was apart of the 89 niners in my opinion the best team ever.thats all i can say

I don't like to rate individual positions. All these guys had great teams around them, put ANY of them on a crap team and you won't see greatness. I'm not saying these guys were great players there's really no comparison between Peyton Manning and say Jay Feeley, but lets rate the teams not the players.
