Kablooey  I forgot about The Matrix, too - a major reason why I loved it was because of the whole philosopical debate going on. The whole "is seeing believing? What do we actually know?"; existantialist questions about life and reality and the meaning of it all.
which is also partly why I hated the sequels - Reloaded because it was just asking questions for the sake of asking, and Revolution (is that it's title?) because it didn't ask any questions at all, it was just a dumb action flick.
Anyway. I liked The Prestige as well, if you count that - it had twists and turns and you never really knew what was going on.
