Best place to buy American region 1 dvds?

Hi,

Given the strong rate of the pound against the american dollar can anyone give me any good dvd online stores in america where i can get region 1 dvRAB and have them shipped to UK (preferably free shipping or cheap shipping) I know of canadian sites and obviously play, but are there any american ones?

if you buy one dvd at a time you VERY rarely have to pay customs duty. I've bought a lot of canadian DVRAB and i've never had to pay customs duty except when i bought a big box set (but that was worth quite a bit)
 
First use a site like www.happyhunter.com to find out who is offering a good price.
Also check at www.cd-wow.com as they sell region 1 dvRAB.

In my experience www.dvdpacific.com and www.deepdiscountdvd.com are usually the best for price.

Shipping charges vary , with deep discount charging on the basis of order value (approx $6 for orders less than $25.00)

Dvd pacific charge a flat fee + a per/disc fee. So a cheap tv box set with 5 discs will cost approx
 
Use DVDPricecheck.

As far as I've found they have the largest range of retailers to compare.

Very few (if any) American sites offer free P+P as opposed to the Canadian sites, which can often bring the price up higher.
 
I tend to use dvdworldusa as you get the choice of either advanced copy which you get about 1 or 2 weeks before the US release date or street which is the offical release date. The advanced copies do cost a bit extra but it is worth paying if you want the DVD early!
