Best pic of your Boulevard!!!

You mention that this is your first bike?
I am thinking about getting the M50 as my first bike as well.
Would like to hear your review of the bike
Like how it is starting on an 800cc vs a 250.
and how easy is it to handle the weight of this bike vs a smaller one.
and any other insights you want to share.

I was worried about all of the same things.... I knew that if I started out small it wouldn't be to ling before I wanted to upgrade... The weight and size was a little uneasy at first but adjusting to it was easy.... Only took a short rides to get used to.... Are you taking a riders course to start??? If so they teach you the basics on a 250 (at least the class I took did) adjusting from there is easy.... I would recommend this bike to everyone....

Agreed, great paint job! And for the guy worried about the M50 then don't. After one day of riding up and down the dead end road behind my house I was ready to go. This time last year I had never rode anything bigger than a 125 dirt bike and over 4000 miles later I am wanting a bigger bike. Well bigger motor that is, same bike.

This is my bike. I am picking it up on the 8th. I am anxious.

Whoa! Gosh dang. That is one gorgeous bike. I know nearly nothing about bikes but looking at this, I think the wheels are OEM, correct? I thought M50 only came with black rims. Which years had the silver ones?

The beautiful custom paint job and pipes aside, what else appears to have been done to this bike? Is that radiator shroud/surround OEM and just painted? Or is that an aftermarket piece as well? Also, I know the M109 (and may be M90 too) has that headlight shroud, correct? These questions are aimed at all members, due to your expertise, not just to the owner.

Uhmmmm....that is an M109 R....
It is a beautiful one though, and I do wish there was enough room on the 50 to have a wraparound rear cyclinder exhaust like the bigger brothers, lol. I like my M50, besides I couldn't afford that much of a bike and I'd feel bad leaving it in my parking lot too...(no garage)

Hey no problem! My bike's a little misleading actually...It's an 08 special edition but after a serious accident involving me and a truck, I had to replace the front end and ALL of the bodywork. Luckily nothing lasting happened to me but I've been working for a year and a half to get it where it is now...I just got lucky and sourced all that stuff from an 05 that was a bank repo...
I love my bike and I'm so happy that I chose to go with it when I was looking! Other than the MSF I hadn't ridden in years and I didn't even get to test ride this one...I just fell in love. It is so easy to ride and just plain comfortable for me! Plenty of power (it's not a rocket, but oh well...) for two-up too...
Anyway, welcome to the forum and I wish you good luck finding a great bike! There are lots of great deals nowadays! :bluethum:
