That's what I thought, I live at the bottom of the mountain on 421 going toward Bristol. I usually ride up to Shady once a week and sometimes I just keep on going to Boone and then turn back towards Elizabethton.

We usually head out of Bristol onto 412 then to Shady, make the left and head north, then head back east then meet up on 421 and head west back into shady then make the left to head south.. 2X a year during the race weeks... we will be down for spring and fall again this year we usually come on Tuesday and leave Sunday... we ride mostly on thurday for our big riding day.. love the country side if I could find a nice IT Job I would move there....
