Best Phone with iPod Touch

Hi, I'm new to the forums and haven't had the time to stay on top of latest cellphone technology. When iPhone came out I thought of it as another gimmick, but recently got an iPod Touch 2G for Christmas. I must say, I love this thing, Apple did a good job. My only dissapointment with the Touch is it's lack of camera and phone capability.

Since my 2-year plan expires in a month, I decided to start thinking about new phone. I already have iPod Touch and have no desire for a data plan (seems overkill to pay $30 per month to check my email on the go). Basically, all I want from the phone is very good picture quality and ability to transfer the pictures easily to my iPod Touch (it seems that Verizon cripples many phones' transferring capabilities and I don't want to be forced to pay them royalty fees for transferring my own images). I've noticed that all WiFi phones are forced into a data plan, so I'm hoping for the next best thing, unlocked USB data transfer.

If someone could recommend a phone that meets the above criteria, I would appreciate it, thank you.

theres always a way to connect your phone you just gotta look for it...
blackberry/ RIM has its own free software
if your on a mac its not needed, just plug in the usb and it shows up as external drive
a few other phones with memory cards are plug and play too

and ipod touch with a phone and camera is called the iphone, lol

I have a voyager and an ipod touch. I could take pics with the voyager and put them on the ipod touch if I wanted, but it would require a computer to transfer the pics to first. Like this maybe:

take pics with voyager - make sure they are stored on the microsd card
take mcrosd card out, put in card reader
transfer pics from card into computer (in a folder that itunes reads)
connect ipod to synch

or

use USB cable and bitpim in place of micro sd card
