Best phone to get?

I currently have the Mytouch slide and love it when it works, but that has been less lately since the new update. I figure since this is my third replacement and Tmobile sold out might as well switch and get a better phone. I don't want at&t. What phone do u think is the best out? I want a phone with swype texting other than that I have a hard time deciding what phone to get.. thanks
