best phone for an 11 year old at christmas....

looking at nokia 6133, motorola v195 ( they both seem like sensible choices).....and the razr v3 (cuz it's the same price and looks cool, although i'm a bit worried about whether it's a wise choice for a 6th grader)

any thoughts?
 
I'm sorry, but IMO the 6133 is too good of a phone for a 6th grader, nothing against your child. Its a good phone but it scratches easily and its definitely not something you would want to lose or have stolen, plus I think most of the features would go unused (music player, EDGE etc. etc.). I would go for the RAZR because it is a solid phone and it still has the "cool" factor, it also has the most obvious features a kid might want...camera, games, good texting abilities. Again, please don't take offense, I'm saying that your child it one bit like or not like this its just my personal opinion about what would work best. A V195 would be a good choice as wel.

So i would get a Razr, like every teenager has. I really dont even think a 11 year old needs a Razr.

You could get her a Samsung t609/t309, Nokia 6101/6103, Or even a Pebl (which I still beleve it to good for a 11 year old).

I mean they should be happy with a Nokia 6101, they will still have a better cell phone then most kids their phones.

They must be lucky, I got my neice whos a 11 years old a VM Oystr for Christmas.
