Best paint to use on a tent? Oxegen tips?

Going to Oxegen this year and i wanted to paint my tent. I've never done it before so i was just wondering which paint would work best?

The tent is a navy colour..

Also has anyone got any tips for Oxegen? I'm a festival virgin! :( lol
a friend advised against pad locking my tent, should I listen to her?
