Tori Amos - American Girl Posse
Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero
The White Stripes - Icky Thump
 
no I haven't listened to Good Girl Gone Bad.....I just dislike RiHanna for the fact that she samples some of my favorite songs that are super popular anyways...so of course her singles are going to be popular....it's a smart business move but just tacky as an artist I guess
 
Grinderman is really the only stand-out thing I've heard so far this year. There were a couple other new releases that caught my eye but that I didn't follow up (Throbbing Gristle maybe?) so if anyone has any recommendations I'd be happy to take them.
 
I've heard a lot of AVERAGE albums this year, however there is ONE that stanRAB out above all others and is a truly great fun listen

What is a good shop in Sydney to buy Imports other than HMV Pitt Street?
 
Just to save me some time, since I'm really bored right now, are there any albums in the former list you'd recommend I give a go...(aside from The Dirty Projectors, I gave them an honest shot and just could not digest the guys voice)?
