By far What.CD is my favorite. Waffles has been pretty good at filling any gaps What does not have in their collection that I've looked for, but doesn't have nearly as good of organization as What does.

What also has some pretty good extras, such as auto-LOG file scoring, cross-listed contributing artist lists for compilations, artist pages, etc.

But Waffles has a cooler name so it gets bonus points there. =)
 
Best Music tracker ive been out of the loop since the demise of oink but i got an ipod and now i need to no what one is right for me and safe for me also i like a variety of music rock old and new new wave mostly but there are some other music i find alright if anyone can help me thx
 
maybe i will go for what and pedros. What has amazing content, and is easier to seed than in Waffles.

Pedros is flac heaven , and is an easy, very tracker to seed on
 
I'm so prescient... I knew this thread was destined for pages upon pages of single sentence posts. :P

Honestly, there is no best music tracker. There can be one that's best for you, but technically it's not possible to name one the best overall. It depends on many factors, especially for what you're seeking. For example, if you're into mostly obscure indie music IndieTorrents is best. Looking for DnB? DB9 is best. Personally I find it useful to have a mix of all sorts of different music sites. Of course most people have different preferences, so they need different trackers.
 
What.cd for mainstream music
LzTr for scores and classical
Pedros used to be my preferred destination for FLACs, but am searching for other alternatives as well.
And ofc TT for Trance. You will never need anything else for that kind of music.
 
What.CD is right now the best music tracker.
510,000 torrents while waffles has only half of that.

I think in terms of all the statistics What is beating every music tracker + they have beautiful layout and nice navigation, useful artist search and some other interesting options. It's simply the best. In other words you won't find a better place.

Not to mention that they uploaded almost 15,000 100% accurate FLAC albums in just a week. - this is how much torrents have well established trackers that specialize in FLAC - and they are around for many years..
