Best Movie Villian

Without a doubt i think they are what make movies what they are. So who are your favourite villians?

I got these from wikipedia.Voted from the American Film institute.
They go in order with Hannibal being the best. They also had heroes but i think they are rubbish. :D

Howard Payne (Speed, played by Dennis Hopper)

Professor Fate (The Great Race, played by Jack Lemmon)

Blofeld as played by Donald Pleasence in You Only Live Twice complete with dodgy eye.

Not the disappointing versions played by Telly Savalas and someone whose name I've forgotten in DiamonRAB are Forever

Scaramanga - The Man With The Golden Gun

Dr Evil - Austin Powers

Blofeld - You Only Live Twice

Goldfinger - Goldfinger

HANS GRUBER - Die Hard

The Sheriff of Nottingham - Robin Hood Prince of Thieves

Ronald Bartel the compulsive fire starter in Backdraft. somewhat overshadowed by Dr Lecter who emerged the same year, but still worthy of consideration. (he didn't eat his prey, just flambeed them.)

Richard Burton as O'Brien in 1984... very creepy.

Jack Nicholson's Joker in Batman. Brilliant performance and genuinely did make the film.

I always thought of Hannibal Lecter as the anti-hero in the Silence of the Lambs rather than an actual villain. OK, pretty damm evil, but he helped Starling through his intelligence. It wasn't until Hannibal he was the full on bad guy.

Mola Ram - Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Maximillian - The Black Hole (the only thing worth watching it for, well the music is good too)
General Zod - Superman 2
Heddy Lamarr - Blazing Saddles (no, Hedley :D)
