I agree on the The Reader! Kate's a Goddess! :thud: Definitlely one of the best movies I've seen this year.
 
Bandslam is probably the best movie this year. Though it flopped in the box office, it still managed to get critical acclaim.
 
I really loved The Reader. Kate Winslet's awesome. I also really loved Gran Torino. Clint Eastwood can do no wrong. :nod:

I haven't seen that many movies out in theaters this summer, but I really loved The Hangover, haha.
 
I think "Edward Scissorhands" definitely one of the best I've seen this year, as far as "never seen this before" goes. For new movies that were released this year, "Public Enemies."
