Best Movie This Year?

Out of the summer movies I've watched in theaters, District 9 was the BEST movie, hands down. :nod: I also really liked The Hangover and 500 Days of Summer, too, but wow, District 9 just blew me away.
 
I really loved Watchmen first time I saw it, and the animated movie Coraline was amazing too. I think those are my favourites from this year.
 
I liked Transformers till now. There are many movies yet to come before this year ends up and next month some good movies are coming up as well.

Last weeks Jennifer's Body was ok. And the animation movie Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs was cool for my kids as they enjoyed it.

I am big movie buff and almost get all the movies as soon as they go public.
 
The Boat That Rocked hands down. Richard Curtis is the s**t. I love him so much.
 
I'm struggling to decide. There's Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, Watchmen, The Boat that Rocked, Star Trek and The Hangover. They're the stand outs for me so far.
 
My favorite movies of 2009 so far are:

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - LOVED it!!!
Star Trek
 
Orphan was amazing,I was glued to the screen from start to finish.
I was surprised by Transformers 2,I got dragged to see it by a guy friend and thought I wouldn't enjoy it but it was awesome!
17 Again also surprised me,it was pretty funny.

The two best movies I've seen this year have been Let The Right One In and Inglourious Basterds. Both utterly brilliant, albeit for vastly different reasons!:D
 
For me, it's all about Watchmen - no other movie came close, though I did love Star Trek.
