The score to King Arthur is probably the best thing about the film (which I actually quite liked - must be in the minority), and my joint favourite soundtrack album, along with the soundtrack to Batman Begins, composed by (suprise suprise) Hans Zimmer.

Hans Zimmer is a brilliant composer and IMO this generation's John Williams.

For me it has to be Star Wars: A New Hope and then The Empire Strikes back.
Recently, I would have to say that Danny Boyles new film 'Sunshine' is excellent, so good that I am currently trying to find any news of the soundtrack - anyone here found it online or news of it?

I think the film was very poor too but the soundtrack was great. :)

Yes, I'm loving Hans Zimmer and his collaborations. I haven't seen Batman Begins so haven't heard the soundtrack unfortunately. Is it worth a watch?

the Lost Boys!!!!

for all you metal loving dudes - check out the Spawn soundtrack the film is rubbish - but the soundtrack is special.

each original track - is done by 2 major artists - both from completely different genres. for example - slayer and Atari Teenage Riot. great stuff

Personally I love th following

Any Quintin Tarentino sound track (Kill Bill, Resivor Dogs and of course Pulp Fiction)
The Italian Job 03 score by John Powell
Analyze That and Oceans 12 scores by David Holmes

I have bought a few Soundtracks in my time, Terminator 3 (Marco Beltrami), The Village (James Newton Howard) and Donnie Darko (Can't remember the guys name). The Village is the best one for me

Gladiator - Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard
LOTR - The Fellowship of the Ring - Howard Shore/Enya (Enya's tracks being my favourite)
Titanic - James Horner
King Arthur - Hans Zimmer/Maire Brennan (Enya's sister)
City of Angels - various
