I didn't like Garden State's soundtrack at all. They tried too hard to make it into the new hotness, and the music was pretty generic.

I'm really big on the Tanrantio Soundtracks (ie. Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs)

Also, I found the Life Aquatic soundtrack to be amazing. Hearing the portuguese adaptations of David Bowie's hits was just too great to pass.

The Requiem For A Dream score has the most impact of any movie soundtrack I've ever heard. I can't even imagine the movie having the same emotionally wrenching effect without it.
