I'd have to say Drama, I like the story to be engaging and somewhat original, good acting,characters you actually care about, witty script that doesn't try too hard, good sountrack is always a bonus.
Most modern films in other genres seem to follow a certain formula, while Drama films are more general and they have aspects of other sub genres anyway.
Can't stand action movies all special effects no substance mostly, I love comedies + musicals also great light hearted escapsim!!
