Thought I'd start this up, was watchin one of my favorite movies, and figured I start a thread on it. What do u guys think the best motorcycle movie has been. For me, hands down BIKER BOYZ.. I love that flick, from the tricks to the actors to the bikes to the racing......

For me it's" On Any Sunday'. It's almost 40 years old, but if you ride, you need to see it!
Guilty pleasure? "Knight Riders" with Ed Harris.

I thought On Any Sunday was a motorcross movie? I guess motorcycle is a motorcycle. Right? I would second Biker Boyz. But Torgue was pretty good too.

Oh for God's sake man!!!

Yes, there's some MX in it, but REAL MX, not the supercross / arena cross shit that is happening now!

On Any Sunday is about life, passion, guts, determination and spirit.

Mert Lawell
Mark Brelsford
Gene Romero
Dick Mann
Malcom Smith
Steve McQueen (Harvey Mushman)

On Any Sunday

Buy it.

+1 for both of those - especially for us old fellas who can remember them.

There was also a classic made in Australia (1974) called' STONE'. Gang style movie before gangs rode Harleys. Way ahead of it's time when I think about it.

The 'Fastest Indian' of course is another goodie.

Jack Nicholson also was in a movie called "Hells Angels on Wheels" I believe from like 1967. I "saw" Biker Boyz (fell asleep a few times during...) and Torque is a fun movie but the unrealism disguists me, especially the end when the chopper outruns the jetbike or when the 2 girls pop circle wheelies to hit each other. Friggin Ridiculous. I Love the first scene in Torque though, those are some nice riding shots through the canyons.

Anyway, I enjoy the older movies from the 60s and 70s. They have a very rugged feel to them.

...btw...

anyone down for making "Ducati: the Movie" ?

"The Leather Boys" Made in England in the early 60's. at the height of the mods and rockers age. All about the guys on cafe racers, Norton, Triumph, BSA, Vincent, Triton. Hope someone surprises me and remembers seeing it. Also staring Rita Tushingham.
