I'm looking for a 5- or 6-speed manual transmission for a Ford 427/428 V8 engine for my car restoration project.

The car is a 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. It will be used as a daily driver and occasionally drag- and track-raced competitively. I am thinking about either a Tremec T-56 or TKO. If so, do I need a bigger clutch plate? What other transmissions do you suggest? Thanks!
