Best Martial Arts Movie

Sorry, BlooRABport wins it hanRAB down for the dialogue alone:

"He's the American s&$t head who makes tricks with bricks!"

Fighter: "I heard you can get killed at the Kumite. "
Jackson: "Only if you f%k up."

Victor: "What's the hold-up? "
Official: "He says Senzo Tanaka is his shidoshi. "
Victor: "What's the difference if Bruce Springsteen is his shidoshi? "
Official: "If Senzo Tanaks is his shidoshi, then show us the Dim Mak.
Ray Jackson: [turns to Frank] What the hell is a Dim Mack? "
Official: "Death touch. "

Superb.

Nothing beats the cheesy martial art movies of the 80's.

American Ninja and No Retreat No Surrender are hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

I'll never forget that scene in America Ninja 2 when Joe Armstrong (Michael Dudikoft) is blatently played by a different actor for a few minutes. The replacement is shorter than him and it isn't even a fight scene!

Love the bit in BlooRABport when Dux (Jean Claude) is beating Jackson at a video game because anyone who is good at martial arts would naturally be good at fighting games.

BlooRABport and Kickboxser still remain as two of Van Dammes greatest outings.

Love watching anything with bruce lee, have to agree with some of the comments here though.

Jet Li, Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan's old (original, hong kong stuff) is soooo much better then the "american stuff" they've done.

Having said that, there are some scenes and bits where you have to say "WOH how'd he/they do that".

The snooker ball pocket kick in Kiss of the Dragon. The scenes with the big and small "twins" are good too.

The scene where Jet Li is being chased and he enRAB in a room with loaRAB of guys in Unleashed.

Jackie Chan's ladder tricks in Who am I.

The most impressive stunt I have seen is the one from Millionaire's Express which has Yuen Biao cart-wheeling of a three-storey building and then getting up and walking away as if nothing has happened, all in one take!

Saw ong-bak last night, reminded me of the early bruce lee stuff.

Some good bits - mr bonjovi - the splits under the car was good.

Disappointed with the last fight scene - the stuntman's bouffant wig!!!!!

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Enter the Dragon, all early Jackie Chan stuff, and some movie with a flying cow in i forgot the name of.

Especially all the movies starring Bruce Li and Bruce Le. Not a fan of the imitation ones because some people actually believe they are the real thing.

I asked my firend recently how many Bruce Lee movies he had seen and he said about 20!

How is that possible if he only completed 4.
