Best live performance you've ever seen?

Well, since we're limited to two, here they are:

Radiohead - I've seen Radiohead twice now, first at the Shoreline in Mountain View, last September. Amazing show, but when I saw them at Coachella in May, it was positively the best live show I've ever been to, absolutely incredible.

Grandaddy - I saw them in March in San Francisco at the Warfield. I've always enjoyed their music, but seeing them live was a completely different experience. The atmosphere was awesome, and they sounded better than anyone else I've ever heard live. Amazing.

KISS- They put on a hell of a show, even if you like their music or not.

Being front row for Auf Der Maur and the Von Bondies was pretty kick ass too.
Oh, and front row for the Violent Femmes was fun

I Must Agree!!! I Saw Primus Here In Atl About 2 Months Ago And I Must Saw It Was Amazing. Then, After The Show, I Met Him And Got Him To Sign My Post "les Claypool For President". He Is Truely The Man And My Idol.

Different for diff genres:

overall, Kraftwerk was the greatest live show I have or will ever see.

front line assembly was the best industrial concert I've ever seen.

The mars volta is the best "rock" I will ever see (missed ATDI, I had tickets then they broke up )

the faint and les savy fav both put on a great show (along with schneider TM, all one venue).

I enjoyed seeing The Mars Volta when they opened for APC, but I'm curious, did you see them on that same tour or did you see them when they were headlining? I really liked the show, but it was a sixty minute set and they only played three songs.

postal service with cex opening.

very small venue, 3rd show postal service had ever played together as a band.

hadn't heard cex before, instantly became a fan of his.

They just played a free show in Omaha in July. I've seen them many times always put on a good show.

Other good shows:

KISS - seen them a few times and they always put on a good stage show.

Metallica - seen them twice, best show was in '97 or '98 in Kansas City.

Rammstein - they're weird as hell, but they put on a good stage show.

Another one a lot of people may not know of is The Urge. I think they're from Oklahoma, but played in Omaha alot, and always put on a good show.

No , i definetely saw them headlining with uhh....??? rye coalition and sol williams ( douchefuck ) I think...They played most of their songs, had a few ~10 minute jams but I was into it the whole time.

I saw APC years ago, I found it to be absolutely horrible and I wanted to die. I refuse to go to big venues anymore...

saw Tool twice, both for Lateralus. It was utterly amazing...very, very atmospheric.

Those were the only two shows I've ever been to where I really felt like I was given something. Which is why I now prefer live Tool bootlegs rather than studio recordings most of the time.

Best stage show - Rob Zombie(I'm seeing Incubus in July though...)
I've seen so many banRAB it's hard to put one at the top. Some concerts are fun, some rough, hardcore, etc.
