i've been in telecom for over 2 years now, but i have never been in an environment that has been business oriented, and pushed smart phones.
since the smart phone market has been steadily increasing and i am beginning to see the day to day benefits of having such a device for my university/work scheduling, i'm looking into purchasing one soon.
here's what i've looked at so far:
blackberry pearl
moto MING (a1200)
SE p990
nokia e61
SE m600
motorola Q (future released)
a few HTC's.
i've always been a strong supporter of SE handsets, but i fear they are simply not as competitive in this market, so i'm putting my SE bias aside.
my price range is anything up to $800CDN ($700US), and i would prefer a 2mp camera, but it is not a deal breaker.
also battery life is quite important, and a touch screen is preferable (qwerty is not necessary).
so far, i have found the a1200 to be the most appealing in terms of price/performance, although it is not nearly as versatile as some of the other choices, and it's a motorola (i generally look down on moto's...hhaha).
can anyone recommend anything else? or is the a1200 a good choice?
