Hey, i was just wondering what would be a great in-dash navigation system for my 2000 Mercedes ml430? I have an Eclipse AVN5495 which i listed on eBay and someone is going to buy that already, I am looking for a navigation unit which does not have the Parking Break Safety Function, which is where you cannot watch a movie which driving or input and address while driving. I want to sell my eclipse because it has 2005 maps and to update it, it was cost around 350$

I was planning on getting the Panasonic Strada, but i heard that to update that, it will cost 300$, i want a navigation system where you can update it for free by just downloading the update and putting it on some sort of memory card. The Most i can spend for the unit is around $1200, The Unit should also be compatible with ipod and be able to have a rear view camera input for if i want to install one later.. Lastly it should have an HDD, which i will not have to use the map disks for. The item should be similar to the Eclipse which i have right now, but with new maps.
