Definitely the share index system. imo it still pwns the typical "no ratio system" and I believe it was around before trackers started going "no ratio".
I like to see a tracker where members can earn bonus from downloading and not just seeding. Combine that with some form of h&r rules; it can increase the trackers' activities.
IMHO, I don't think it would be a great idea on your tracker Stoi. You guys got tons of super-rare stuff there (a good bit of which id down to 1-3 seeders) and I feel like a large number of seeds would be gone if you would switch to ratioless.Funnily enough, in 2007 sometime, i made a staff thread saying we should try ratio free, lets just say most of the staff thought I was mad, torrents would die overnight, everyone would hit and run, members only seeded for PU/SPU (well saying as though we got rid of those and have not seen a drawback in the above, that was rubbish) etc etc.
But as you know, we never actually went for it, even though I wanted to (and i still think it will work, but we have other plans now)
polish your arse, it's about to be kissed. :happy:yea its empty.. :shifty:

The guy who's idea it was to go ratioless obviously didn't know what a great idea he had or else he would have copyrighted it.
A tracker thats under dev is gonna implement something never ever seen before..and yeah, downloading activity is taken in account as well in the complex and kinda holistic algorithm being developed and tested..
ya all will get to know about it in good time.. :yup:
I can't remember which tracker it is, but it uses total traffic, that encourages leeching. :ermm:I like to see a tracker where members can earn bonus from downloading and not just seeding. Combine that with some form of h&r rules; it can increase the trackers' activities.
^^ now those two i've never heard of.how does that code thing work exactly coz it still sounds fakeable to me?
Probably the most logical reason for a tracker to implement this feature. Its no need for people to sign up to trackers only to find out they aren't anything close to their tastes(happened to me with extremebits somebody told me it was a music tracker),a guest account for test driving sounds like a good feature.Though i figure with trackers inclination towards being mysteries this is highly unlikely to take off.And it may stop 1000s of members joining up and never using their account, if they can see what it is like first.
yep, fsc and bcg pwns with those features. any kind of bonus is a half win though. freeleech slots are also great.Share Index and Seed Points(more sites need to implement systems like these). Or even bonus points.
Nope, they were not the first one to introduce it.Ftn's non ratio system was something new (although I'm not sure they were the first ones).
