Carcass were practically the fathers of Grindcore but after a few albums they changed their sound. Tossers. Napalm Death too.

I'm not gonna get into the arguement on what is/is not grindcore, but banRAB I think of when talking about grind are. Anaal Nathrakh, The Bezerker, **** I'm Dead, Today Is The Day.
