Best Gnutella Client

Just wondering what the best Gnutella client other than LimeWire is. I'm having those connection problems with LimeWire and am tired of it. There are a few programs on this board and I just want to know what the best alternative is. Anything that doesn't have spyware or crap like that is good enough for me. Thanks.

Try Bearshare lite: http://www.bearshare.com/lite/

So what's your issue with LW anyway? Did you seek help? We don't often get connection problems for people from oz!

i think im being filtered by my isp because I had great connections all up until 5 days ago. im on an unlimited wireless broadband connection from a new ISP that is selling services from a larger provider called iburst. I've tried everything and asked for help over and over and am really disappointed I can't get LW working

I posted here earlier today and sent you a couple of PM's...thanks for the help so far

hmmm a wireless ISP is always worrying. They get much more fees to get bandwidth transferred and might get encouraged to limit P2P activities. It seems your ISP can block individual P2P users http://www.mybroadband.co.za/vb/archive/index.php/t-16799.html Personally, I would call them and try to talk to a technician that is in the known (you might have to talk to many representatives -- those are usually very uninformed --).

Bonne chance!

I'm on SBC-Yahoo!-DSL and I generally get good performance out of LimeWire PRO. Except that IP Direct Connect is sorta tricky and poorly documented... LimeWire is cross-platform, Windows, Mac, Linux.... nice!

Shareaza is OK. I use it for BitTorrents. IN general, if the file you want is popular, LimeWire is good. But Shareaza uses more networks so maybe you can find more stuff...

In my experience (2 years LimeWire PRO, 6 months Shareaza) usually LimeWire is faster than Shareaza...

Good info here for config + troubleshooting... why doesn't LimeWire document like this? :

I'd like to hear more from anyone with multi client experiences?
