Best gift for friend doing our wedding photography?

On of the groomsmen's Girlfriends ( she's also our friend) is starting out in the photography business. She has agreed to do our wedding photos for no charge which is beyond awesome.

I need ideas for what to give her as a thank you gift. My Fiance suggests data cards for her camera. I was thinking something more along the lines of a gift certificate for one of the nice restaurants in town.

Ideas?
 
Since you mentioned that she is just starting on the photography business try something related to that field. Would she need anything like a new camera case? Find out from her boyfriend and you might find out something affordable and really something she will appreciate.

Gift Certificate is fine, but seems less personal and not much thought put into the gift when she is not charging for pictures! Photographers can be pricey!
 
Data and/or memory cards may be a difficult gift to purchase, unless you know specifically the size that she requires. You are better off following your own idea in getting her a gift card to a very nice restaurant. Keep in mind that wedding photographs can get quite costly, so make sure that you at least spend about $100 to show your gratitude!
 
Why don't you get her a gift certificate to a photography shop? That way, she can pick out what she would like so you can make sure you don't buy the wrong thing or something she can't use. I think you should also tip her for her work as well, especially since she is doing it for free.
 
if you figure you would be spending about 2000.00 for getting your wedding done pro. and that's just for digital photos with only 100 or 200 prints 5 by 7

knowing she will be green still and what not i of course wouldn't expect to pay that much

I honestly would invest in her why not buy her a nice 700.00 or higher end digital camera? trust me she might even do some after wedding photos for you trash the dress photos and oh some baby photos

if you deside to do that give her the gift at the rehersal dinner so she can have a crash course on how to use it.

with a gift like that just think of how much more focused she will be and taking thoes extra photos

if that is out of your leauge look into a photo shop program so she can do touch ups about 200.00
