Best friend acting weird? Read the description?

Alright. So im a 15 year old guy and my best friend goes through these phases where he just becomes distant and wierd and i hate it. It really bothers me. And i know some of you will say to get a better friend. And i know that i probably should. But he understands me more than anyone else.. and we can talk by giving eachother looks and all that other cliche best friend stuff. I have tried to talk to him and it just doesnt seem to sink in. And lately ive been cold to him and its just awful. Its the summer and we should be having fun while we're young.. but he never wants to do anything. Its just a battle every time. I dont know what to do.
 
ok well what i would do is just give him space when he has his moments and stuff and just be there for him when he needs you or anything just be a good friend
 
Your friend and you are at the age when your bodies are going to start playing tricks on you. You will experience hormonal, physical and mental changes, and friends will come and go. It's nothing against you or him it's just life. Give him space and he'll come around.
 
it sound like your friend needs a little space i would give it to him every body needs time to there self so thats what i would do
