I'm looking to start my first freshwater aquarium, probably 9 gallons. What besides Zebra Danios should I go with?

Looking for a hardy, easy to care for fish. And would this be a good aquarium for them? http://www.aquariumsdirect.com/aquariums/other-shapes/biube9gallonaquarium.cfm

I find the circular tanks to distort the image of the fish (I prefer to look at my fish clearly...). also a 10g would be much cheaper than the 9g (and would have lights, filter, heater, etc).

please keep in mind most of these are schooling fish, prefering groups of 5+.
Hardy fish: (go well with danios in unheated tanks)
mountain cloud minnow (middle-top of tank)
rosy minnow (bottom-middle of tank)
other danio species (over 100 species of danio...)

other hardy species that would require a heater:
livebearers (guppy, platy, swordtail, etc)
rasbora
barbs (gold, cherry, rosy, etc)
gourami (pair)
betta (1 male)

Best of Luck!

UHH, 2 cory catfish for cleaning, and one platy THATS IT no more fish until u get a bigger one.

neon tetras would be good so would rosy barbs and cardinal guppies would go good to and so would platies and mollies
