Best (free) VoIP for S60 WIFI phone?

I tried like everything, voipcheap, truphone, gizmo, NON of them work. voipcheap i dunno whats going on because im using fring and it just wont work. and truphone dont support my phone. gizmo i dunno how to use it.

Well I just got TruPhone set up with out any problems and so far it seems to be working good.

I haven't messed with internet calls to much prior to this and was wondering if there's a way to set regular voice calls as the default. What I mean is when I key in a number to call and press the send button it defaults to an internet call. I want it to be regular cellular instead. I want to have to select internet call when I want to use it. Thanks

Here's a puzzler. I'm going to be in Costa Rica for 7 weeks this summer studying abroad and have tried looking into various VoIP options, however, I believe the telecommunications company in Costa Rica has made it a criminal offense to use VoIP (not completely sure though, haven't found verifiable documents), but, does the ban of VoIP also ban the use of a SIP server?

I was planning on getting an E60 for my trip, but if using WiFi to make calls isn't an option then I don't know what to do...

I don't know about Costa Rica specifically, but countries that ban VoIP normally means that they ban the setting up of a VoIP gateway in the country. So calling into that particular country would be much more expensive, since the gateway would be placed in a nearby country and you have to pay the cost of an international call.

Nothing stops you from placing an outgoing VoIP call if you're in the country though, unless the ISP you're using has made specific moves to block VoIP calls. SIP is easy to block, but Skype is virtually unblockable.
