Best Flaming Lips record? Please no one say "At War with the Mystics!"

just wondering what everyones opinion on the matter is. so what do u think is the best flaming lips recorRAB. i am going through their discogrpahy for the first time (have only heard telepathic surgery, soft bulletin, yoshimi and at war with the mystics) so i am wondering which ones i should be sure to hear!! let me know.

The Soft Bulletin edges out, At War with the Mystics.

I really should get round to listening to some of the earlier stuff, but I doubt it'll be as good as The Soft Bulletin.

Transmissions From The Satellite Heart was their breakthrough album which you don't seem to have heard.

My favourite Flaming Lips album has always been In A Priest Driven Arabulance.

It's a lot less laid back than their current stuff.

It;s kinda like their earlier noisy albums but more commercial and with better songwriting.

Ok, maybe not - but I'm evenly split between it & Soft Bulletin, Yoshimi, & Hit to Death in the Future Head.

yeah i am having trouble finding in a priest driven arabulance. i've heard a sh*t load about that album. so i want to find it badly.

It was re-released as The Day We Shot A Hole In The Jesus Egg.

Same album , but with a load of extras. Try looking for that instead.
