Best Films Of 2006 So Far!

So many good films been released this year so far like Jarhead, Munich, Walk The Line, Capote, V For Vendetta, Slither, MI3, Brick, The Magician, X3, United 93, POTC2, Superman Returns and Miami Vice. These are some of the films I have enjoyed so far this year. What films have other people enjoyed?

I think "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" was a truly great Action/Adventure movie - and we don't get many such films anymore.

Incredible performance by Depp - just amazing. All of the "Pirates" movies will be considered true classics, I'm sure of it. They remind me of "African Queen" in the sense they are just great fun Hollywood flicks that everyone can enjoy on many different levels.

Fav film is Cars by a long way, also really liked Underworld Evolution, Alien Autopsy, FatF3, POTC2, X-Men3 and Hostel.

Please dont take offence to this but I am truely amazed you feel this way.
I hated the first but took my son to see the second and bugger me if I didnt hate that even more.
Badly acted, poor script and really boring.
Only my opinion of course just as you have yours.

It seems that your opinion is in the minority as a lot of people love the Pirates films including myself. However as you said it is only your opinion!

I know it was made last year but it wasn't released in the UK until April '06. Anyway it's the best film I've seen this year or last.

Hidden, again made last year but released here early '06, is obviously a brilliant bit of film-making but not a lot of fun.

I agree with you about POTC2. It was just sheer good fun. I rarely go to the cinema, unless I've got a free ticket yet I enjoyed POTC2 so much that I bought two tickets.
