best fast easy thing to cook for dinner?

i put this in polls and surveys so it will get answered faster...

i am home alone, and am dying for something to eat, and there is nothing in the house but raw ingredients and canned foods. (and ice cream, but i ate that for brunch)

any quick easy recipes?
my mom doesnt buy hamburger helper b/c she thinks only "white trash" eats it....no offense
